Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models and neural network architectures.
- Lead architectural decisions for data pipelines, model training, and inference services.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and data scientists within the AI team.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Optimize existing models for latency, throughput, and cost-efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and ethical AI standards.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years specifically in Machine Learning and AI.
- Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, big data technologies (Spark, Kafka), and MLOps practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
