Responsibilities
- Strategic System Design: Architect scalable, fault-tolerant AI infrastructure capable of handling petabyte-scale data streams.
- Model Deployment: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning models, from prototyping to MLOps deployment on cloud platforms.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- R&D Innovation: Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies (e.g., Transformer models, Generative AI) to ensure OmniStream remains at the forefront.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize model inference speeds and reduce latency in real-time applications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps aligned with 2026 business goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on machine learning and AI.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and distributed computing frameworks (Kubernetes, Apache Spark).
- Cloud Expertise: Deep experience deploying models on AWS, GCP, or Azure using serverless or containerized architectures.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams and managing complex technical projects.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
