Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance 2D interactive graphics and animations using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate complex visual concepts into functional, scalable code.
- Optimize rendering performance for cross-browser compatibility and mobile devices.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and technical excellence.
- Integrate third-party animation libraries and build custom tools to enhance our development workflow.
- Debug complex rendering issues and ensure pixel-perfect visual fidelity across all platforms.
- Contribute to the architecture of our internal 2D graphics engine.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D web development and interactive graphics.
- Deep expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong proficiency in Canvas API, SVG manipulation, and WebGL (Three.js or Pixi.js).
- Experience with animation libraries such as GSAP, Anime.js, or D3.js.
- Excellent understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
