Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the implementation of large-scale, high-performance distributed systems tailored for the 2026 technological landscape.
- Lead architectural reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and mid-level staff.
- Identify and integrate emerging technologies (e.g., advanced AI, quantum-ready protocols) into existing product architectures.
- Define technical standards, coding guidelines, and best practices to ensure code quality and system scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Operations) to translate business requirements into technical blueprints.
- Drive the migration strategy from monolithic systems to microservices and serverless architectures where applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a Senior or Lead capacity.
- Deep expertise in modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven experience with high-availability, low-latency system design and disaster recovery planning.
- Strong proficiency in at least two of the following languages: Go, Rust, Java, or Python.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
