Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance cloud-native applications using microservices architecture
- Optimize system scalability and reliability through CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Implement robust security protocols and compliance standards (GDPR, SOC 2)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Troubleshoot complex production issues using cloud monitoring tools (AWS CloudWatch, Datadog)
- Document technical specifications and API integrations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years professional development)
- Expert proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript with modern frameworks
- Deep cloud experience (AWS/GCP) with serverless and infrastructure-as-code
- Strong knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and caching strategies
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues
- Excellent problem-solving skills and system design capabilities
- Ability to thrive in independent weekend remote work environments
- Portfolio demonstrating full-lifecycle projects
