Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices in Python/Java on AWS
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL/MongoDB)
- Write unit/integration tests with Jest/PyTest
- Participate in sprint planning and code reviews
- Document API endpoints using Swagger/OpenAPI
- Debug and resolve production issues (on-call rotation)
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming
Qualifications
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Proficiency in Python or Java
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and GraphQL
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
