Responsibilities
- Transform Raw Data into Insights: Clean, process, and analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities that drive business growth.
- Visual Storytelling: Design intuitive and interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- SQL & Backend Analysis: Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) to support ad-hoc reporting and research.
- Statistical Modeling: Apply statistical techniques and predictive modeling to forecast trends and evaluate the impact of business decisions.
- Automate Reporting: Develop automated scripts and workflows to reduce manual data entry and ensure real-time data accuracy.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineers to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend data-driven improvements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (advanced querying) and Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Visualization: Strong portfolio demonstrating experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex data concepts into clear, concise, and compelling business narratives.
- Remote Work: Must have a stable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office environment suitable for video conferencing.
