Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using advanced diagnostic tools and proactively address bottlenecks
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect against vulnerabilities and threats
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for complex network issues via remote assistance
- Document network configurations, changes, and incident reports in ITSM systems
- Collaborate with vendors for hardware procurement and service level agreements
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct periodic network testing
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise network administration with Cisco/Juniper certification
- Proficiency in VPN, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP protocols
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex network outages
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN solutions
- Knowledge of network security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent written communication skills for remote team collaboration
- Valid California driver's license for occasional on-site visits
