Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Lead post-incident investigations and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure strict adherence to compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC2, and ISO 27001.
- Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to design secure network architectures.
- Document security policies, procedures, and incident reports for stakeholder review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GCIH, or Security+ are strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Hands-on experience with SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, LogRhythm) and EDR tools.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure during security events.
