Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite security team. This role is remote-friendly, offering the flexibility to work from our Baton Rouge hub or from the comfort of your home. You will play a critical role in protecting our organization's digital assets from evolving threats.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools like Splunk and SolarWinds.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage firewall rules and intrusion prevention systems.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents and breaches in a timely manner.
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and NIST.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and harden network infrastructure.
- Document security policies and incident reports for executive review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CompTIA Network+ are strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security frameworks.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid or remote environment.
