Responsibilities
- Design and deploy quantum-secure network architectures with 99.99% uptime
- Develop cryogenic cooling systems for quantum processors operating at 15mK
- Implement zero-trust security protocols for quantum-encrypted data pipelines
- Optimize hybrid quantum-classical computing workflows for enterprise clients
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen hardware interfaces
- Document quantum system specifications for 2026 compliance standards
- Monitor real-time quantum decoherence metrics across distributed networks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface/colour codes)
- Proficiency in cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Strong background in AWS/Azure quantum cloud services
- Published research in quantum information theory (arXiv references required)
- Experience with Qiskit, Cirq, or other quantum programming frameworks
- Security clearance for DoD quantum projects preferred
