Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Develop error-correction techniques to improve qubit stability
- Collaborate with hardware teams on quantum processor architecture
- Lead research initiatives targeting 2026 quantum computing milestones
- Publish breakthrough findings in top-tier scientific journals
- Secure and manage government/private research grants
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Published work in quantum algorithms or hardware
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
