Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for machine learning optimization
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims on 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-classical hybrid architectures
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and industry whitepapers
- Secure $2M+ in government and private research grants annually
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Patent at least 3 core quantum computing methodologies per year
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry breakthrough)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with superconducting or photonic quantum processors
- Published work in Nature/Science or equivalent high-impact journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or comparable quantum programming frameworks

- Deep understanding of topological quantum computing and braiding operations
