Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for encryption and optimization systems
- Design and implement error-corrected quantum circuits on proprietary hardware
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and top conferences
- Secure $5M+ in annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor postdocs and PhDs in quantum information science
- Advise Fortune 500 clients on quantum security implementations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (2020-2025 graduates)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or proprietary quantum SDKs
- Published work in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with high-performance computing experience
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Clearance for working with sensitive government research projects
