Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to validate quantum processor performance
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and speak at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD researchers and drive quantum education initiatives
- Secure SBIR grants and partner with national laboratories
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and complexity theory
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters
- Track record of securing research funding (NSF/NIH/DARPA preferred)
