Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead error mitigation strategies to enhance quantum coherence times in 128+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to calibrate quantum processors and validate quantum supremacy claims
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise-scale industrial applications
- Mentor PhD interns and lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with MIT/Stanford partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Engineering with 3+ years of quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and circuit optimization
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction (arXiv citations required)
- Proficiency in Python/C++ and high-performance computing environments (HPC, GPU clusters)
- Experience with quantum simulators (Qiskit Aer, Q#) and hardware-level debugging
