Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex computational challenges
- Lead experimental research on quantum error correction and qubit stability
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype quantum hardware interfaces
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional innovation teams
- Develop quantum computing frameworks for commercial applications
- Stay current with emerging quantum technologies and threat vectors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum entanglement
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum hardware interfaces
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex theoretical concepts
