Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum systems using superconducting and photonic platforms
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to commercialize quantum solutions for finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation through quarterly hackathons
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum hardware interfacing
- Published work in Nature/Science or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with quantum annealing systems (D-Wave) or superconducting qubits (IBM, Rigetti)
- Strong background in machine learning and classical-quantum hybrid systems
