Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Conduct theoretical research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing solutions for real-world applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to prototype quantum circuits on next-generation systems
- Publish findings in leading scientific journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum computing open-source initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
- Proven track record of published research in quantum information science
- Expertise in at least one classical programming language (Python, C++, or Rust)
- Familiarity with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
