Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Develop error correction techniques for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Author peer-reviewed publications and secure patents in quantum information science
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor architectures
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and ACM conferences
- Advise government agencies on quantum security policy frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature/Science/Physical Review)
- Proficiency in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance methodologies
- Expertise in at least one classical HPC framework (CUDA, OpenMP, MPI)
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Experience securing SBIR/STTR grants for quantum research
- Validated understanding of quantum decoherence phenomena
