Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex computational challenges
- Develop error-correction protocols and quantum hardware optimization strategies
- Lead cross-functional research teams in prototyping quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford labs on quantum-neural network integration
- Publish findings in Nature Quantum and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA and NSF research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum circuit design using Qiskit or Cirq
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Experience with superconducting qubit platforms (IBM Rigetti, Google Sycamore)
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research funding
