Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum error correction research
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Secure $2M+ in NSF and DoD grants for quantum initiatives
- Pioneer quantum-safe cryptographic protocols post-quantum era
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years hands-on quantum algorithm development with Qiskit/Cirq
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, QCE)
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and variational algorithms
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments
