Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for practical applications in optimization, machine learning, and cryptography
- Design and conduct quantum system simulations using advanced frameworks like Qiskit and Cirq
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit performance on superconducting platforms
- Publish research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.) and present at major conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and secure competitive research grants
- Develop patentable quantum solutions addressing real-world business challenges
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum error correction
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact quantum computing research
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
