Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithm experiments using superconducting qubits and trapped-ion systems
- Develop novel cryptographic protocols resistant to quantum attacks for enterprise clients
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-ML hybrid solutions for drug discovery
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and ACM conferences
- Optimize quantum error correction codes using topological quantum computing approaches
- Collaborate with government agencies on post-quantum standardization initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq) and circuit optimization
- Published research in quantum information theory or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency with quantum simulation tools (Qiskit Aer, IBM Quantum Experience)
- Experience with high-performance computing environments (HPC, CUDA)
- Strong background in algebraic topology and category theory
- Security clearance eligibility preferred for government projects
