Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for machine learning optimization
- Develop error-correction protocols to enhance qubit coherence in 100+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to test quantum circuits on superconducting platforms
- Lead research initiatives in quantum cryptography for post-quantum security frameworks
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patentable innovations in quantum computing
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA quantum computing grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing specialization
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum algorithm development
