Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical industrial applications

- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical neural networks
- Secure $1M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA initiatives
- Mentor post-doc researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2018-2026)
- 5+ years hands-on experience with quantum circuit design using Qiskit or Cirq
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and low-level quantum hardware interfaces
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ limitations
- Security clearance for government quantum projects preferred
