Responsibilities

- Lead research projects targeting quantum advantage in pharmaceutical discovery and materials science
- Publish high-impact research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers and develop quantum computing curricula for 2026 industry standards
- Secure NSF/DARPA grants for quantum computing infrastructure development
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit optimization
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals or conferences
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum simulation frameworks (Qiskit Aqua, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Track record of securing research funding from government or corporate sources
