Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum error correction protocols for 2026-scale processors
- Design and implement hybrid quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Drive research on topological qubit architectures and cryogenic control systems
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and secure NSF grants
- Mentor PhD researchers and establish industry partnerships
- Oversee quantum simulation infrastructure and benchmarking frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research with 2+ publications in top-tier journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation tools
- Demonstrated experience leading technical research teams
- Strong background in superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical engineering solutions
