Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for 2026-era computational challenges
- Design and optimize quantum error correction protocols for commercial viability
- Direct cross-functional research teams across quantum hardware and software domains
- Secure federal and private research grants exceeding $5M annually
- Publish findings in Nature/Science and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Develop patent portfolios protecting quantum IP assets
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years quantum research with peer-reviewed publications
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Proven track record of securing research funding
- Experience leading technical teams of 10+ researchers
- Familiarity with NISQ-era hardware limitations
- Strong background in topological quantum computing
