Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization and cryptography applications
- Design and implement error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams on quantum processor integration
- Publish research in top-tier quantum computing journals and conferences
- Manage cross-functional teams of physicists, computer scientists, and engineers
- Develop quantum computing educational frameworks for industry adoption
- Secure strategic partnerships with quantum hardware providers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of quantum research experience with published papers
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and error correction
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience leading technical teams and managing research budgets
- Strong track record of translating theory to practical applications
- Knowledge of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ions, photonics)
