Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable quantum circuits and hardware layouts using topological qubit technologies.
- Develop and optimize quantum algorithms to solve complex optimization and simulation problems.
- Collaborate with theoretical physicists to translate research papers into functional engineering prototypes.
- Implement quantum error correction strategies to improve qubit coherence and system stability.
- Lead a team of junior engineers and researchers in pushing the boundaries of quantum supremacy.
- Mentor cross-functional teams including software developers, hardware engineers, and data scientists.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantum computing, quantum mechanics, or high-performance computing.
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms (QAOA, VQE) and quantum error correction.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and quantum software stacks like Qiskit or Cirq.
- Experience with superconducting circuit design or photonic quantum computing is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
