Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026 deployment targets
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications
- Drive research in quantum error correction and qubit stabilization techniques
- Create patentable quantum hardware designs with 10+ qubit coherence
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in cutting-edge methodologies
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and government stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or superconducting qubit design
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum systems
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum development frameworks
- Proven track record of building scalable quantum circuits (>100 qubits)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and topological qubits
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and dilution refrigerators
