Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026-era applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical workflows for AI optimization
- Lead quantum algorithm research for cryptography and simulation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define qubit specifications
- Create quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography
- Document architecture blueprints and publish technical whitepapers
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming paradigms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Published research in IEEE Transactions on Quantum Engineering
- Experience with superconducting or photonic qubit systems
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant designs
- Certification in quantum machine learning (QML) or quantum cryptography
