Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures with error correction capabilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and control systems
- Translate complex quantum concepts into actionable technical specifications
- Drive R&D initiatives in quantum cryptography and secure communication
- Mentor junior scientists and publish breakthrough research in leading journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum system design
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science/Physical Review X
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave control electronics
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
