Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic qubit technologies
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Establish security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Drive innovation through patent development in quantum hardware-software integration
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum physics and computational theory
- Present breakthrough findings at industry conferences (IEEE Quantum Week, etc.)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, or D-Wave)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in high-performance computing architectures and cryogenic systems
- Strong background in quantum information theory and entanglement protocols
- Track record of leading technical teams in cutting-edge R&D environments
