Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical ML algorithms for exponential performance gains
- Develop error-correction protocols for scalable quantum neural networks
- Lead cross-functional projects with hardware and software teams to prototype quantum-AI systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals/conferences (Nature, ICML, etc.)
- Secure federal/private grants for quantum-AI research initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing principles and AI optimization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum algorithms (QAOA, VQE, Grover's variants)
- Expertise in Python/C++ with quantum frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Published work in quantum machine learning or quantum information theory
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
