Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum machine learning algorithms for autonomous decision-making systems
- Lead cross-disciplinary research teams in developing next-gen AI models with quantum-enhanced capabilities
- Architect scalable quantum-computing frameworks to solve previously intractable computational problems
- Collaborate with government agencies and Fortune 500 partners on national security and healthcare initiatives
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.) and secure patents
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers in quantum AI methodologies
- Present findings at global tech summits including Davos, CES, and AI Now
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Computational Physics from Tier 1 institution
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development with demonstrated commercial applications
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum neural networks
- Expert proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record of securing $2M+ in research grants or venture funding
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, D-Wave) integration
- Strong background in ethical AI development and responsible innovation frameworks
