In this role, you won't just be writing code; you will be crafting the algorithms that will power autonomous systems, drug discovery, and complex financial modeling in the post-quantum era.
Responsibilities
- Algorithm Design: Develop and optimize quantum machine learning algorithms specifically designed for Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum (NISQ) devices.
- System Architecture: Design scalable quantum-classical hybrid architectures to bridge the gap between current hardware limitations and future computing power.
- Hardware Integration: Collaborate with hardware engineers to fine-tune software for specific Quantum Processing Units (QPUs).
- Research Leadership: Lead a team of research scientists in exploring novel quantum approaches to deep learning and neural networks.
- Prototyping: Build rapid prototypes to validate theoretical models and demonstrate feasibility to stakeholders and investors.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Information or AI.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in AI/ML, with at least 2 years specifically focused on quantum computing or advanced optimization.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Mathematical Maturity: Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex numbers.
- Cloud Expertise: Experience deploying models on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) with specific experience in quantum cloud services.
