Responsibilities
- Test Execution: Design and execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans to validate software functionality and user experience.
- Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and prioritize bugs using JIRA, providing clear reproduction steps for developers.
- Regression Testing: Perform rigorous regression testing on builds to ensure that new updates do not disrupt existing features.
- Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria.
- Test Reporting: Generate detailed test reports and metrics to provide insights into software quality and release readiness.
- API Validation: Validate RESTful APIs and database integrity to ensure seamless backend performance.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with API testing tools like Postman.
- Automation Skills: Familiarity with automation frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress is highly desirable.
- Tools: Proficient in using bug tracking tools like JIRA or Trello.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
