Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality across various platforms.
- Identify, document, and track software bugs and defects with high precision and detail.
- Perform manual and automated testing (if applicable) to validate functionality, usability, and performance.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to troubleshoot issues and drive root cause analysis.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure recent code changes have not introduced new errors.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies and tools to continuously improve quality processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance testing within the software development lifecycle.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for database querying and validation.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or Trello.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for documenting complex issues clearly.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
