Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects and ensure product quality
- Document test results, bugs, and provide detailed reports to development teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide input on testability
- Perform regression testing to verify that new features don't impact existing functionality
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data
- Utilize industry-standard tools like JIRA and TestRail for defect tracking
- Stay updated on emerging testing methodologies and technologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in software QA testing or related field
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies and testing frameworks
- Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management systems
- Basic knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python) or scripting
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
