Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to verify software functionality and performance
- Document defects using JIRA with detailed steps, expected results, and severity levels
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes
- Participate in agile ceremonies (sprints, retrospectives) to align testing priorities
- Conduct regression testing on web/mobile applications across multiple browsers/devices
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to product stakeholders
- Maintain comprehensive test documentation and test environment configurations
Qualifications
- 2+ years of manual QA testing experience in software development lifecycle
- Proficiency in bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management systems
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and continuous integration pipelines
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data-driven mindset
- Experience writing test plans, test cases, and user acceptance criteria
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation testing
- Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST) or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in remote environment
