Responsibilities
- Test Execution: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects with precision using JIRA and other ticketing systems.
- Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Cypress to streamline the testing process.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on usability and functionality.
- Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing to ensure new features do not break existing functionality.
- Reporting: Generate detailed test reports and provide insights on product quality to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance (manual and automated testing).
- Tools: Proficiency in SQL, REST API testing (Postman), and bug tracking tools like JIRA.
- Automation: Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver or Cypress.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
