Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Tester to join our innovative team in the heart of Miami. This is a remote-friendly position that offers the flexibility to work from our modern downtown Miami office or from the comfort of your home. As part of our quality assurance team, you will play a critical role in identifying bugs, validating features, and ensuring our applications meet the highest industry standards before they reach our global customers.
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and edge-case testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA and other bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint retrospectives.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium or Cypress.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing to ensure a seamless user experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong preference for candidates in the Miami or remote tech scene.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
- Proficiency in SQL for database validation and data verification.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
