Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and user stories.
- Execute manual and automated tests across various browsers, devices, and operating systems to ensure compatibility.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA or similar defect tracking tools, providing clear reproduction steps.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand system requirements and resolve issues efficiently.
- Perform regression testing on software updates to prevent the introduction of new defects.
- Analyze system performance and user experience to provide actionable feedback for product improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance testing, including both manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Appium.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for database testing and querying.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise bug reports.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
