You will be responsible for designing comprehensive test strategies, executing manual and automated tests, and providing actionable feedback that drives product excellence. Responsibilities
- Design and Execution: Develop comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases to verify software functionality and user experience.
- Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA, ensuring clear communication with the development team.
- Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium or Cypress to improve testing efficiency.
- Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing on new releases and updates to ensure existing features remain stable.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide testing insights throughout the agile development cycle.
- Requirements Analysis: Analyze technical requirements and functional specifications to ensure all aspects of the application are thoroughly tested.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA) or Software Testing.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database querying and experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
- Automation Tools: Strong knowledge of at least one automation framework (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Appium).
- Methodologies: Experience working within Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
