Responsibilities
- Execute Test Plans: Conduct thorough manual and automated testing to identify bugs, defects, and anomalies in software applications.
- Document Defects: Log and track software issues using JIRA or similar ticketing systems, ensuring clear communication with the development team.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that recent code changes have not negatively impacted existing functionality.
- Test Case Creation: Develop comprehensive test cases and test scripts based on user stories and system requirements.
- Collaboration: Partner with developers to troubleshoot complex issues and verify fixes before release.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor the software lifecycle to ensure all quality standards are met prior to deployment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Selenium, Postman, or similar automation tools.
- Database Knowledge: Solid understanding of SQL for database querying and data validation.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Methodology: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
