Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand system requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
- Execute manual and automated tests to identify bugs, errors, and defects in software applications.
- Document and track all defects using JIRA, providing clear reproduction steps and severity levels.
- Perform regression testing to ensure software updates do not break existing functionality.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback to the development team to improve product quality.
- Stay updated on the latest testing tools, frameworks, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field is a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document issues and collaborate with teams.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
