Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test scripts to identify defects, bugs, and anomalies in software applications.
- Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports to ensure thorough coverage of all functionalities.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Developers, Product Managers, and Business Analysts to define acceptance criteria.
- Perform regression testing on new builds and updates to ensure existing functionality remains intact.
- Document and track all bugs using JIRA, prioritizing them based on severity and business impact.
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings to stay aligned with project timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Strong proficiency in manual testing methodologies and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Experience with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively report findings to the team.
