Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure product quality.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira and other tracking tools.
- Collaborate closely with software developers and product managers to diagnose root causes and resolve issues.
- Automate repetitive testing tasks using Selenium or Cypress to increase testing efficiency.
- Monitor system performance and stability to ensure optimal user experience.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, life cycles, and best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL for database querying and validation.
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
